“ Great food. Tastes homemade. Staff are always so friendly and the restaurant feels like a small hometown restaurant. I love this place. Not sure if other Brookfields restaurants are the same. The first time I went here, I could have sworn it was a small single business owner business because of the environment and how they took care of you. ”
“ Always an extremely delicious experience. Homemade sauces, dressings pies you name it....we love stopping here for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Great food served by friendly staff that know service. Amazing eggs Benedict, Roasted turkey dinner, small lunches of half sandwiches and soup. Their soups are definitely delicious and made in house. There is nothing I have tried here that wasnt good. Upscale diner food and things like seared ahi tuna and absolutely amazingly tasty potato skins..dont miss this tasty place anytime of the day. ”
“ Big menu to please nearly any appetite. Only down check is it's pretty noisy -- though not so bad in one of the side booths. Baked goods are especially nice. (I don't tend to care for restaurant corn bread ... And the honey was served without asking, from a proper dispenser) ”
“ Definitely a cool classic dinner atmosphere. Locally own business. The food is good, we have been at this place few times during our travels, and everytime we stop the service is outstanding the food is good, but I do have to be honest both times the food was a little bit salty. That shouldn't stop you from not trying the food, we all have different palette and we as a family we don't eat a lot of salt. I would have to say is the attention to detail the service is by far out favorite thing, that's the reason why we keep coming back. We have had Breakfast and Dinner and both times we had different servers, both ladies were so kind and went above and beyond to take care of a good size table of ten the first time and the second time was stopped was five of us. Don't hesitate to stop, because we love to support local restaurants with rich family history. ”

She kept an eye on us because she knew that we were deep in discussion and came for our order when she saw a break. Food was delicious. Service & atmosphere great. Clean. Sure, there was a gratuity added to our bill, but the service was so good I added even more. Thank you for indulging us at your restaurant. We are the remnants of the GWRRA motorcycle club of Sacramento that has folded. We still enjoy getting together once in a while. This is the second time we have used this place for a get-together and hope for many more. ”
“ Well I guess this review is well past over-due. I've been visiting this spot for at least 3 years now. Not once have i ever been disappointed with the food or the service. It's only taken this long for a review because i was able to contain myself when the food showed up. Breakfast consisted of a 10oz steak. Cooked perfectly to my tastes. Basted eggs, and some of the best prepared country potatoes. And instead of coffee, i treated myself to a strawberry Soju drink. ”
